Just used a Lightning Talk at PyCon to announce our existence, state our intent, and drum up some interest from people who aren’t being totally annihilated by their professional lives… Hopefully it didn’t suck too much; I’m still all froggy from the Cold From Hell and very, very tired.
Anyway, if you’re coming from PyCon (and I guess even if you’re not–why should I be particular?), hi. How are you?
So I bought this domain name a while back in a fit of Dr. Horrible geekdom and didn’t know what to do with it until now.
I’ve had a bunch of ideas for personal projects that I never get a chance to work on. I think they’ll be useful, and make the world ever-so-slightly better if they can get made.
I found a few like-minded folks who were also excited by a number of these ideas. We all agreed that someone ought to start making them happen, and that maybe if we all worked together we’d actually get somewhere.
There’s not a whole lot to see right now because we’re busy getting some infrastructure set up and going to support our development. Soon enough, though, we’ll to start realizing some of these software pipe dreams and share them with you.
We hope you’ll find our work useful, or enjoyable. We hope that it makes your world a little better. Because–let’s face it–the status is not quo.
